Easters Here!! And we Need You!

A somewhat early Happy Easter folks!

For many, this weekend can mean a few things. Plenty of chocolate for one, time off from work another. If you’re one of the lucky few who have the weekend off, have you got any gaming time booked in between visits to see family/friends?

On a more personal note, BlastProcess.com will soon be hitting its 3rd month online (our first post can be found here!). Created after a conversation between myself, Tom and Mike after a late night retro game discussion we are happy to say that we’re happy with the progression of Blast Process thus far!

Originally aimed as a retro discussion website we’ve gone on to produce posts about retro games as well as new titles with retro-related pasts. Mike was also keen to have a go at creating unboxing videos of special edition titles.

At time of posting, including our unboxing videos, we have 4 videos available to view online. After checking the statistics of each of the videos, I can happily announce that our first video (our Alien Vs Predator Unboxing video) has had over 1000 views on YouTube/blastprocess alone! Along with views from other gaming websites that our currently hosting our video, its had over 2000 views!
Our resident video editing wizard Tom has done a sterling job on all the sites videos so far, and I hope you all agree.

So, looking forward, what can you expect to see in future blog posts here on Blast?

Well, we want to continue looking back! The 3 of us are big fans of old classics, so we’re going to look at doing more retrospective articles and videos. We shall also be keeping an eye on re-released titles on services such as Xbox Live and the Playstation Network and games that have links to titles of yesteryear. All this said, we won’t be ignoring general new releases! Mike’s already got ideas on upcoming special editions of new games to be featured in one of his unboxing videos.

We also require you! The readers! We want to know what you think of Blast Process!

Our videos, our articles, our website in general…we require your comments/feedback! The easiest way is to post a comment under our blog posts here, or if you want to produce a comment about one of our videos you can comment under the video on YouTube. We also now have a Facebook page, which is right here.

We want you guys to keep visiting us, so the more comments and feedback we get, the better we can make this website for you!

One last thing! We’ll be launching the first poll on here in the next couple of days, so keep your eyes peeled.

Hope you all have a fantastic easter!
