We take a look at the Sony PocketStation

A Station in my Pocket. I surprise Tom with my PocketStation, all the way from Japan!

The Sony PocketStation was realsed in 1999 and is exclusive to Japan.

The peripheral featured a built-in clock, LCD screen, speaker and infared capability but the selling point was that the device doubled as a memory card and you could buy new games or even transfer mini games to it, similar to how the VMU’s worked for the Dreamcast.

Available in White and Clear I managed to pickup a Clear PocketStation with strap and a couple of games.
